A Family Bed & Breakfast in the
Heart of
Victorian Flatbush

Built in 1903, this Victorian is located on a quiet tree lined street on the south end of Ditmas Park in the heart of Brooklyn. Ditmas Park is one of many mini neighborhoods that make up the larger historical Victorian Flatbush. The neighborhood is the largest concentration of free standing Victorian homes in North America. Each home with it's own unique charm and detail, but recognizable Victorian features often reminds visitors of their own hometowns across the United States.
Located two blocks from the Manhattan bound subways and local Brooklyn bus routes. Just forty minutes from midtown Manhattan, you have easy access to museums, concerts, and restaurants from virtually every country in the world.
The Oplustil Family have called this their home since 1979. So please come and stay at The Isabella. A little bit of home in the heart of Ditmas Park.

  1. My husband and I were recent quests at 474 Rugby. It was a most enjoyable experience. Joanne, the owner, couldn't have been more hospitable. Their home is clean and very attractively decorated. Joanne helped us arrange our pickup and drop off times with the car service. Breakfast was perfect for a day of traveling. She is so interesting that we actually asked her to join us for breakfast conversation.
I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and hope that there is an opportunity to stay there our next trip to the "Big Apple"! Noreen

  2. When we decided to spend a weekend in NY a friend of us suggested us The Isabella B&B in Brooklyn. This end by being a surprising and great experience: The house is very cozy, the neighborhoods are very beautiful and quite, and the location is very convenient regarding public transportations or restaurants. Plus Joanne and Kaz were warm and wonderful people. It was like being at friends' home. You should try :) Paula & Anabela, Braga, Portugal
